As we send the impression of your prepared tooth to a high-quality local lab, we’ll place a temporary crown to help protect the tooth until the permanent crown comes in.

In many cases, patients receive their custom-made dental crown during their second visit. Our team will remove the temporary crown during your second crown visit and securely place your new dental crown. With proper care, your new dental crown can last decades!
